Election Day

Today is election day!!  Chris and I voted this morning.  We took the kids with us in the car to the church down the street to cast our votes.  We had tried to explain to them beforehand what we were doing and how it was important.  When we got there Chris and I took turns getting out of the car to go inside and vote.  Chris went first and when he returned Emma got very upset and wanted to know where her present was.  I had no idea what she was talking about until I realized she had thought Chris and I were picking a "present" not a "president".  She is so funny!!

Well, it's about 10:15 and I've been watching the coverage all night.  There is still no winner yet but it's looking good for Obama, who received our votes today!
